Abruzzo is the green region of Europe for number of Parks and Natural Reserves. For this reason, we suggest to our guests different naturalistic routes to take, starting from the farm



Starting from Moscufo loc. Pischiarano, direction LORETO APRUTINO and subsequently PENNE. Here you can visit PENNE LAKE with WWF RESERVE, continue to FARINDOLA famous for the pecorino (made with the pork rennet), it climbs again towards Castel del Monte,the heart of Pescara Park, famous to be the scene of some important films not only Italian, .... until reaching Campo Imperatore popular destination by walkers and more ... Here it is a refuge called Mucciante, where you can buy fresh meat and cook it on the picturesque coal fornacelle ... It can be concluded with a visit to CALASCIO, famous castle in the heart of the Park.



Starting from Moscufo Loc.Pischiarano, direction CARAMANICO, here there is the TURISTIC PARK INFORMATION where you can find different types of trails, more naturalistic than those of Gran Sasso. Then along ROCCAMORICE and the church of SAN LIBERATORE A MAJELLA until they get to the trails that lead to HERMITAGES: HOLY SPIRIT, SAN GIOVANNI ALL'ORFENTO and the SAN BARTOLOMEO IN LEGIO. It can be concluded with a visit to SANT'EUFEMIA A MAJELLA and ORFENTO VALLEY NATURE RESERVE.


Itinerary NATIONAL PARK D 'Abruzzo

Starting from moscufo LOC. Pischiarano direction VILLALAGO where you can find the impressive GOLE of SAGGITTARIO and LAKE OF SAN DOMENICO. Continue to SCANNO, mountain village characterized by the imposing presence of the SCANNO LAKE, then go down to PESCASSEROLI, known for the presence of the famous wildlife reserve WOLF and BEAR MARSICANO. It continues towards CIVITELLA ALFEDENA where there is the NATURE RESERVE OF Camosciara, famous its rich and varied wildlife. It can be concluded with a visit to BARREA LAKE visiting the two villages that surround it: BARREA and VILLETTA BARREA.
